Err....>.o does the riddle look like destruction?

And I say it's related in the way a salamander is related to an alligator. To the mammalian eye they look similar and have som similar traits, but the true things are very different from each other.

Ah....actually, that is a good answer. But it's not the one I'm looking for.

Another stanza, to help.

A hammer, a sickle, a twisted cross,
A flaming sword held high 'bove the populace
Grabbing at everything, then burning
All those unlucky enough to lack it.

Combine this with the first stanza, and perhaps the answer shall become clear.

Here's a doozy:

Two bodies have I, though both joined in one.
The more I stand still, the quicker I run.
