Moontyde's Poetry

It matters not where I have been or how I came to be there.
What has been done can not be undone, but my life is forever changed.
I will never be remade. I have been created as is, broken and torn.

Chipped paint decorated her nails,
black painted eyes. Loud voice.
Her spirit live, her spirit bold.
Her smile unchanging, her love unwavering
trust, love, safty - danger, lies, hatred
Tears stained her face,
eyes dimmed with sorrow.
Her voice silenced.
Her spirit broken, her spirit torn.
Her smile faded, her crown broken.
No longer the princess, no longer beautiful.
Sparkle turned to dirt.
Heart turned to stone.

Oh, I like this one. Very symbolic. :O

Im lost Im lost.

Where am I running to?

Circles and circles I run for no reason at all.

I run but am still.

Images stare at me,

with one then with another,

then another.

I turn to but where am I going?

Im stuck at this stand still position.

Everywhere I turn your there, everytime I close my eyes your there,

everytime I think its yet again you.

Im lost and defeted.

Broken and alone am I.

Guess this is what the moon feels like with all her craters, all her wholes, and wounds.

FADING
Not wanted anymore.
Being pushed outta the picture.
Screaming and bleeding,
wishing I were her.
Just say it just say you don't want me,
that im nothing.
I don't want you haven't I made that clear.
I hate you I love you
I want you I hurt you
Don't worry I'll do what you wish
I'll disappear for you
Goodbye
Don't let go, never let go
You'll forget about me in a few years.
I'll never forget.
You will see,
it is you who will forget all about me.

Failure

Tear by tear,
I wish.
Scream by scream,
I plead.
Please don't do this,
but as I watch her pass by clueless to what she is giving up.
LOOK AT WHAT YOU HAVE,
I scream
DON'T LET IT ALL GO,
I yell.
IT'S ALL YOU HAVE LEFT,
I plead.
But I still watch that girl walk away and hide from everyone.
She's still broken,
she's still lost.
Wasn't it God who said that she had what it cost?
All those people said all she had to do was talk to him,she did.
She talked, she screamed, she cried, and she tried so hard to make him hear.
Did he hear her and just not care?
Or did he hear her and see a test to put her through?
Or did he just like playing with broken toys?
Children of god or toys of god?
Morbid I know,
childish I know,
but am I wrong?
What happened to that girl?

Hurt

Wanting to cry but its not the time. It hurts to be silent but hurtes even more to speak up. Its not my fault. Its not their fault. But it hurts. Excruciating and non debatably painful. This emptiness and this contentment. Of being alone but not alone. Save me hate me stave my resentment curb my happiness. Save me from myself.

Broken heart

This feeling, this feeling in my chest can't catch my breath, my fault? No, just mistakes coming to bite me. But that doesn't matter. But now I feel guilty, but of what? It wasn't my doing but it's still there. Save me God, save me. I'm failing in my own life this feeling, this feeling in my chest.

What am I?

From day to day I stand here thinking.
From night to night I wonder,
am I here to do anything or am I just here to take up space?
Some tell me I'm here to make people smile.
Others tell me I'm a mistake.
Which am I?

THIS NIGHT

We dance.
We move.
We sway with the music.
His smile,
filling me with happiness.
His smell.
His every touch.
Warmth covers me.
So intoxicating just being near him.
His voice always louder than the music.
In a crowd of people.
But it is like we are the only two there on the dance floor.
Reality comes crashing.
Coming down on our heads.
We have to leave so soon.
A parting kiss still lingers on my lips.
Forever will I remember this night.

Missing stones from nine.
Missing stones of mine,
stones of nine that they can't find.
Missing stones of mine.

Betrayal with no intentions
Anger and fear
Blood and tears
A phone call is all it takes
With the words and all the connections
Blow by blow
Word upon word
Each word cutting deep
With tone of voice it becomes clear all the condemnation
Lies upon lies keeping me on this ground
My own weaknesses are my chains and shackles
Welcoming this pain
Enduring all of these lessons
Facing my world my only light
I will endure, and last till the very end
Selfishness, and longing
Love never ending.
