The Tournament

We need to start planning this. I am willing to hold it at my house on July 12th.

As with the last Tournament, it would be prefered if all guests brought either a TV, a gaming console, a power strip, or a combination of the three.

Council/Order members, post here for plans or questions.
If anyone need my number or addres, PM me.

For now, this will have to do.

I'm down for bringing the wii.

OK, slight problem here. My family is currently in some financial trouble, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to host the Tournament.
Sorry guys. But I will continue planning it. Only way I can host is if I charge a small entry fee ($2 or $3 per person).

Easy solution: Have this shindig at my house. Half you folks already know where I live, and the other half can easily find out.

I'm not gonna pay to go to a party so I'm all for having it at Roboto's house.

(And if this doesn't convince ya'll, nothing will.)

I got a big screen TV at my house and plenty of room to do it all. It's best we do this crap during the day though if possible, since usually my parents like their quiet at night. Wednesdays work well.

well i will need to find out were you live and i can bring a gc but i dont have many games but thier all pretty fun (one of my freinds is barrowing my games. oh if you guys havent tryed finalfantasy XII i can bing it too (only got 2 good controllers for gc)

I have, like two controllers for GC, too.

i've been looking at all of my binders that have my old homework in them, and you know what? i want to burn them! so if we do have a tournament, we should have a bonfire and have a sort of "book burning." i might have to keep some of them, though to help my sister, and also to keep a few of my better language arts assignments.

lol, you must wait untill school is over, though, so you don't burn something you might possibly need

i got a whole gc system with 3 controolers but ones busted so if we have connection cables i can bring my gc.

I got the wii, a few GC controllers, and a Famicom, and I will of course be bringing my usual array of pokemon games.

I'm actually glad you two posted on this thread. I'd just like to mention I bought some Game Fuel for our little shindig...but I heavily recommend at least a couple more of you folks get some more (either or both flavors is fine) soon, and save it.


Anyways, I also got a Wii now, but probably won't have a GC when this thing rolls around. So if we need one, someone else will have to bring it, and I'll say it now...My GC controllers are staying WITH my Wii.

i will bring my gc anyways also as i was drinking some MT voltage i came up with an idear if anyone dare try (i will if posible) we mix a little of each MT flavors? but thats just me i'll try almost anything!

yeah, we could go a suicide and just mix the lot! lol anyway, i have a ps2 and a gc and i could probably bring them if need be. i also have a small tv and some multiplayer games for ds. if there's anything i need to bring, snackfood, games, ect. just say.

same here i get payed friday but only $20 (my dad pays me to go to summer school) oh i might bring some of the new game fuel of some mt voltage

Anyways folks, don't ya'll think we be needing to get this thing set up more?

We've got a place and a date.

What I think we need is this:

A time
The games for the tournement
Whether we create our own rules, or if we follow more "official" rules if the game(s) we choose are more tourney based (like Super Smash Bros Brawl)


Oh, and here's a few things for when you're all over here...

1. You leave your problems with each other (or with me) at the door. No exceptions. Period. We're here to play games and enjoy this, not fight.
2. This is a pretty clean house, I do expect it to be more or less like that when you leave.
3. I have cats. You allergic? Take your meds, or tell us you can't come. Don't pester them.
4. More than likely, at least one of my parents WILL be here. They might not always watch us, but they will be here.
5. I'm taking mental pictures before you all get over here, so I'll exactly where everything is.

You folks might not like it, but if everyone follows these...suggestions, this will go much more smoothly. I've seen that our group is might more tense then needs to be these last few months, both in and out of school. I'd like to keep that out of my house for at least a day.

Well if it's late enough in the day I might be able to bring Daniel down to meet everyone. The 12th is a Sunday and he gots to work till 4-5 on Sundays. The most you can hope for from me is a TV and a gamecube.
