parents

ugh i hate parents especially when they say they know whats your thinking. and that they know how you feel. well the two guys i have liked and more are basicly tearing me apart and my mother says she knows just how i feel. ugh how stupid do they think we are?!!!!

i hate it when i get in trouble and my dad sits there and trys to tell me exactly what i was thinking when i broke the rule or whatever and i'm just like.....uh........nope wasn't thinking that or nope didn't know i was supposed to do that etc...it drives me insane cause then i get in trouble if i try to set him straight.

I think everyone has these problems... I personally started ignoring my parents or turning their words against them in the same arguments. In fact, I use logic as my prime weapon, and my mom (college graduate and former Pre-K teacher) can't fight logic with anything but logic. This is a downfall for her, as she can't think nearly as fast as I do when under the stress of an argument. (Split personalities work wonders when it comes down to thinking quickly...)

oh but theres where your wrong, split peresonalities just get in the way in that kind of situation especially when they dont agree with eachother.

I think this is where someone's supposed to say "they're only being protective because they love you" but let's face it who actually believes that crap.

:O such wow. i'm serious. all my mom wants to know is where i'm going, who with, and what time i'll be back. i get to do almost anything i want if i tell her those things

A word from the wise, *The older you get, the smarter your parents get.* Remember, as hard as it is to believe, that they were your age too at one time. I don't even consider my self an 'adult' yet but I am mature enough to see that.

you might have experienced more things at an earlier age than they did, and that's not necessarily a good thing, but they've probably experienced them already so you can talk to them about anything. even why you are mad at them. they'll listen, even if you have to make them.

yes! it is they literally cant listen they spend too my=uch time yelling and blowing everything i say off.

My mom tends to be annoying at times... but I still get to do what I want even if it means I will be harassed the whole time I am doing it.

well i dont want to be harassed ao ill just wait till my b-day. oh by the way i proably wont have a b-day party this year my b-day will consist of buying boxes and packing my things.

Kinda like what you're doing with everyone who tells you to talk to your parents? The point is you don't know what they'll say until you talk to them.

sometimes i wonder, but they never hear me until i do something drasticcly wrong. its like their looking for a reason to say no to every thing i say.

So give 'em a reason to say yes. Open up to them, tell them about your day after school and not just the bad parts. If you're open with them, they'll be open with you and an open relationship with your parents is the first step towards understanding eachother.

ill just stay closed to them for now i dont think they are too worried as long as my friends dont go to them and tell them im suicidal.heh like that will happen again.
