The Market place

A friend of mine once started something like it on another forum and it was a really big hit till he stopped showing up. In his memory I'd like to start something similar to it here.

The Market place is much like the tavern theme type rps. It's a free form rp that anyone can join at any time, all you really have to do to join is start typing.

It does take place in a more mystical type setting in a cobble stone street with many different stands, shops, resturants, ect. to visit. It's up to you to decide exactly what you find on your venture down the street.

You may man your own street stand if you like and sell or entertain in any way you see fit, as long as it stays good and clean.

You may even set on characters in the street looking for someone to join quests or carry out errands. These quest can either be carried out in the market place, or branch off into a different rp all together.
One thing though, if you do decide to do a quest in the market place, you agree that anyone in the marketplace can join the errand or quest at any time, as long as they stick to whatever story you have.

There will be a tavern on the street, and one of my characters will be maning a street stand.

Also everyone is allowed as many characters as they like as long as they can keep up with them and run them all smoothly. I'd suggest a max of three characters per person. I think after three it get's rather complicated especially if they are all if different places at once.

If someone stops posting for a while or they stop using a character. It will be automatically assumed that said character has gone back to where ever they came from to begin with.

This sounds really cool, and I think I'd like to man a booth in said marketplace using my Hadina character. Still, you need to start a marketplace thread in the actual Roleplaying forum, this is just OOC.

um, I kinda already knew that. This is just me passing by the idea, it isn't the actual rp. <_<

For this rp like all the other ones I shall use my Rana Mizu character. Look up the profile on the In-Depth Analysis topic if you want more details about the character.

hee hee that's the fun of this one you don't really need a bio, part of this is to really put yur descrip skills to the test. And you can find a creative way let tell people about your character in game. So everything will be based on first impressions.

I'm debating on giving this a little more time to brew before hitting the rping thread. Depending on my mood it might just be up sometime tonight or tomorrow.

at any rate you can join where ever you want once it starts.

I would perfur no god modding if it can at all be helped. If i feel like you are god modding you'll more than likely be ignored. That's usually the way i work anyways.
