Pokemon RP

If you need me to describe any of the regions, Please ask, Hempy, myself or Eve will reply. Please post your character here.

DO NOT POST A STARTER POKEMON UNTIL THE REGION IS SELECTED (one week from now)

once the region is chosen we will post the rules, what pokemon are available and all the other details. Enjoy.

We have already decided that Ami. Rotom and Phione we aren't counting as legendaries anymore because you can breed them with Ditto to get one of there own kind.

Exactly. As to what Pokemon are available in the RP (and where) we'll have to decide that based on where it will be based.

If we choose Kanto, we will probably choose only season 1 and 2 pokemon for catching, breeding, etc.

As to the starters, they will also be based on the region.

NO LEGENDARIES OR 1 OF A KIND POKEMON, NO "MADE UP" POKEMON, NO POKEMON THAT ONLY EXIST IN THE GAMES THROUGH GLITCHES AND CHEATS (aka no Wondertomb, or Pokerus).

That sounds about right.... but you see in the shows the pokemon have migrated to Kanto and Johto from the other seasons so technically that isn't fair.

ROTOM IS 100% COMPLETELY A LEGENDARY POKEMON AND I WILL TEAR OUT THE EYES OF ANY AND ALL WHO SAY HE ISN'T! So he can breed I don't care about that part I care about the whole not available 'till after the elite four, gets his own cutscene, only one available in the game, and five new forms in the upcoming game thing!

Sorry, Hempy, but for this case, since there can be a (near) infinite number of Rotoms due to breeding, we will not count him as a legendary. If you so choose to call him as such in the games, more power to you.

But again, as to the RP, we are not counting him as a legendary.

Also Hempy, in the new game. You can get Rotom before defeating the Elite Four.

I believe that he would be counted as a sub-legionary. Sub-legionaries include Pokemon like the Regi's and [debatable] the fossil Pokemon. Regardless they are 'special' Pokemon, I don't think we should allow any of them to be available for the RP.

Or we could follow the show, in which there are numerous Mews, Regis, Celebi, and various other "legendary" (or at least its hinted that there are). Also in the show, some "fossil" pokemon are found in the wild.

But in the show, they make no effort to capture "Legendaries" or "Fossil" pokemon.

I didn't mean that they dont exist, I meant that we should make it were we cant have them in our teams or capture them.

The poll is now over, and it looks like we have a tie between Sinnoh and Kanto!!!

This is a slight problem. Eve and myself did not see this possibility, so we will speak with Hempy, vote between we three, and use the region selected.

Kanto has been selected between me, Magician, and Hempy. Thank you for the votes. In a few days, the rp shall start.

Oh a pokemon rp sounds so cool. Pokemon is one of the few things I still play alot, sadly I don't have time to play much other stuff.

*le sigh* i don't think that playing pokemon on paper, or rather a computerized version of paper would be as fun as actually playing the game...........

Well actually Pokemon Rps are pretty fun, I have done a few one on ones based on pokemon on other forums.
