Alice in Wonderland

I was just at the movie theaters when I saw the banner for the live action Alice remake, and it will come out 3-5-10 if you don't know already

check the chatbox archives for what I have to say about it.

wow diden't know alice was popular-ish

The person directing it is what caught my attention.
I heard about it about a month ago and the rumor is that Tim Burton is the director.
Couple that with the actress who plays both Beatrix Lestrange (in Harry Potter) and Mrs. Lovett (in Sweeney Todd) is playing the Queen of Hearts. I also hear that Johny Depp is making an appearance (don't know who, yet).

So, yeah, this is going to be good.

if you've read the archives in the chatroom, you'd know that the director and depp is a lie! (i dunno about beatrix, though)

OH I WISH DEPP WAS IN IT.... he is a very good actor.

No Depp is playing in it according to all sources... he is playing the mad hatter. Also Tim Burton is the director.

MY DREAMS COME TRUE now all it needs is Adam Sandler in it somewhere..... (just kidding lol)

Not everything Tim Burton's directed has his name on it. I think he did two or three Batman movies, Beetlegeuse, and Edward Scissorhands, not to mention Sweeney Todd.
His name doesn't appear on any of these.
Eve did a little project on Burton, she knows more than I, so I'll leave her to fill in a few more of the movies that his name doesn't appear on.

I think the only reason his name showed up on Nightmare is because he wrote the poem that the movie is based off of. He was the beginning middle and end of that movies production.

Why?! I actually kinda sorta like Johnny Depp! (as an actor, which is really rare) Why must they turn him into a scary clown???

And WHAT is so wrong with scary clowns, hmm? I'll have you know some of my favorite movies have 'scary' clowns in them. And I'm not just talking about The Dark Knight.

i like the costume, it's pretty cool. Anne Hathoway is really pretty in that picture.

I don't mind scary clowns as characters, I just don't like one of the very few actors I LIKE playing a scary clown.

Even still....scary clowns are just....scary...*shudders*
