Good evening, it seems as though you are new to the region. Or perhaps you're here to receive your first pokemon? I am Professor Pine, please refer to me as Professor. I see you don't seem to have a pokemon yet. I can help you out...

"Welcome trainers, to the new Region Morex, a small continent west of the Senoh Region. Here, many unique pokemon thrive, even outnumbering the human populace in some places."

"But even we are not immune to threats. The infamous crime syndicate known only as Team Obsidian has been stealing Pokemon and conducting experiments with them, fusing species together to create "ultimate Pokemon." Fusing pokemon isn't the only thing Team Obsidian does, but it's a good start. Most young trainers choose to fight them for the good of all, but some innocent minds are lead astray and join them."

+ Amithyst Stone, hempy, and Mr.Roboto are in charge
+ NO Godmodding.
+ If you receive three warnings, you will be removed on the third.
+ No skipping ahead on the routes. You go step by step.
+ The ONLY pokemon YOU can make appear are the ones encoded in black and brown. hempy and Roboto can make everything up to orange appear. I can make pink and light blue appear.
+ You can't win everything.
+ The OOC Thread is here [link] . That is where you should post your profiles, but ONLY after I've approved them. PM me your profile to be approved.
+ You may form traveling groups or travel alone, but you must be in the same area to join up with someones group.

Leader: Basically they run the whole operation.
Elite Officer: Similar to Assassins. They only come out when there's an legendary pokemon to nab, or when the boss is away.
High Ranking Officer:[/b] These people are sent to complete bigger operations. They don't usually get to see legionaries, but they're more common when they need to nab rare or ultra rare pokemon.
Scientists: The scientist do all of the research and scientisty things.
Spy: Spies...well.. they spy >>; They relay information back to the higher ranks.
Agent: They collect pokemon to be experimented on. They even steal from other trainers if they see something they like. (All obsidian members do this, but Agents do so more often than others since they tend to be too lazy to catch on on their own)
Supplier: These are the people that fund Team Obsidian.
Scouts: The look for new potential members.
Grunts: Basically Team Obsidian's Militia.

Wild Pokemon

Players can only make certain levels of pokemon appear, would be very common and common. Moderators Can make any pokemon appear up the very uncommon. Only the Administrator of the Role Play (myself) can make rares and ultra rares appear. Both the admin and the mods can take the role of a legendary and have them appear, but legionaries canNOT be captured!

You need to have pokeballs in order to capture pokemon. I will be initiating an items system of some kind ASAP.

You do not need to sit here and read every pokemon, but feel free to look up the colors of your favorite pokemon or a pokemon you have in mind, to see if you can capture them on your own.

1 pokemon of a higher color level will appear every 10 pages.

Pokemorphs

A human may be almost any type of Pokemorph (except legionaries) due to being part of a Team Obsidian experiment, being exposed to toxins dumped by Obsidian, or born a Pokemorph if one or both of your parents are one.

Pokeweres

You may be a Pokewere by either being bitten by a mutant Pokemon, attacked by another Pokewere in Pokemon form, or born one if BOTH parents are Pokeweres. Currently, the only Pokemon carrying the mutation are canine Pokemon. Watch out.

Mutants

Because of Team Obsidian's experiments, certain Pokemon now have genetic mutations that are rare but have a dramatic affect on that Pokemon's appearance and maybe other things.

Morex TV Station

Here is where TV events will occur. There might be a day where it will rain for 24 hours, thus effecting the pokemon breeds and amounts that will be out and about. There might be a special sale going on in a certain store in a certain town (especially important when items and $ system becomes effective), and maybe even an Elite Trainer will give a few handy tips about whatever they are so "Elite" on.

Anything can happen on TV! So make sure you keep yourself nice and tuned in! =D



Towns

StarShine City: It is just after Meadow Springs. Granted the long walk, it is more than worth it! The city is the talk of those who love the nightlife, as there are fireworks almost every night and everyone is alive. History: Amithyst was born in Brimstone, a small town at the base of a volcano in Morex. Never known her father and her mother having died during child birth, Amithyst was raised by her grandparents who rain a Poke'mon Breading & Daycare Center in Brimstone. Growing up she helped her grandparents with running the Daycare. Feeding, grooming, and playing with all of the Poke'mon brought to there center. As she got older she begin to take note of the Pokemon's habits; playing, fighting, breeding, and laying of eggs. On her 10th birthday, when most young trainers would go out and seek there own pokemon and adventures, she was held at home by here grandparents worry that Obsidian might clam her somehow, instead her grandfather let her have charge of the most prized Poke'mon he had ever breed. His blue Ponyta. After five years of caring for Ponyta, on her 15th birthday, her grandfather and grandmother announced that they had been discussing and that they thought her old enough to set out on her own adventure with her own companions. Being eternally grateful to them Amithyst sets out for the near by region of Sinnoh, were she will be able to finally set out to fulfill her dreams...

"Common Ponyta! I'll race you!"
Ami ran excitedly down a hill, today was the day she started out on her adventure. It had been a long ride to from Brimstone to Greenleaf but she was exited to finally be here.
Her Ponyta was a blue streak beside her as they ran together towards Professor Pine's Lab, which was clearly the largest building in town.

When they reached the door she paused for a second to catch her breath before entering with Ponyta not far behind. "Hello!" she called out in a ringing voice as she skidded to a stop in front of the welcome desk.

Ami fallowed behind her excitedly, even stepping on the backs of her shoes a few times. They had reached a large white room full of beeping machinery and with a few other people bustling about.

Professor Pine stopped in front of six different colored desks, "Please wait here for a moment" she instructed as she went to a table not to far away and picked up a red square device. "This is your Poke'dex, it will instantly record data on every pokemon you encounter on your journey."

"Wow a Poke'dex!" Ami took the machine and looked it over before slipping it safely into her hip pack.

"Now to business." Stated Professor Pine, "While there are many different types of Pokemon you will have the choice between three, Grass, Water and Fire. Seeing how you already have your first partner you will only have the option of the pokemon on the first table." She explained, indicating the white table.

"Oh okay!" Ami nodded, still excited to make her choice, when she saw what was available on the white table however her face dropped and she slouched her shoulders. This is really all there is? Man these choices aren't very good!"

Professor Pine frowned,"You could leave without any at all.." she said with a stern look.

"WHAA! NO no! That's not what I meant!" Ami cried waving her arms as she randomly grabbed one of the three balls on the table. "This is the one I want! I will be happy with whatever pokemon it is!"

Professor Pine nodded her head and smiled, "Why not see for yourself then" she said with a little smirk.

Ami pouted and humphed "Alright then, come on out!" She cried as she unleashed the poke'ball. She nearly fell over when she saw what she had chosen. On the floor in front of her was her new Magikarp, flopping around pitifully. She groaned and returned the thing to its poke'ball then pasted an uncertain smile on her face and gave a shaky thumbs up "Its fine, still got my positive attitude. We can make this work cant we Ponyta? We will help Magikarp along with us right?"
"Niii...Ta..?"
"Well we'll try anyway" Ami answered as they left the Professors lab.

All of a sudden Hempy came out of nowhere and brought the Pokemon RP back to life!


Prof. Digit was taking his time, lazily making his way to the next town. "Maybe there we can find a map to figure out where we are." He grumbled to his Porygon. "Well it's not all bad, at least Dr. Akihabara isn't expecting me in Viridian City for another week. That gives me plenty of time to take in the sites!" He looked at his porygon floating leisurly beside him, it didn't eat, it didn't breathe, it couldn't feel emotions, it wasn't by any account to be considered alive. But Digit felt that his floating compadre would surprise him.
